Postal Codes/why&how

Here is how She Writes Letters works:

SM, that’s me!, or a guest contributor, writes a letter and sends it (posts it) here for all of cyberland to read.

The Sign It/Signatures Button:

If you agree with the letter, or like the letter, or want to lend support to the author of the letter- you can ‘Sign It!’
This is akin to the like button on the book of face. It also honors a promise to my father; whenever I was passionate about something growing up and ranting to him, or anyone that would listen, he would say, “You write it- I’ll sign it!” This step is easy, you simply click on the Sign It! button in the lower left corner of the text under my signature. If someone has already ‘Signed It!’ The button will display how many signatures the letter has received, simply click on that and it will register your signature. Sign as often as you like- it is powerful, fun and anonymous!

Comments/Post Script Button/Blue Circled Number:

If you feel moved to share some thoughts on the letter, consider adding a ‘Post Script’. In other on line journals and such this would be called a comment. Click on the circle with a number in it in the lower right part of the text, a dashed line should lead you right to it. Once clicked, follow the instructions on the Response Form and voila!

Times of Mail Distribution:

New letters will be uploaded whenever the mood strikes or someone submits.

Submit:

Need a platform for yourself- read the Air Mail tab, submit, and join me.

Signature Status:

The Signature Status feature in the right column keeps track of how many signatures each letter has received.

Previously Addressed:

Also in the right side column, is a scroll down tab that houses all of the previous letters, in case you want to read them all individually by recipient. Simply scroll to a letter of interest and click on it.

Post Office:

Again in the right column, is the Post Office- our archives sorted monthly. Pick a month, click it, and read through the days.

Pen Pals:

The final Feature in the right column, though certainly not the least important. Our Pen Pals are our friends in cyberland.  Some consider this a blogroll. We simply list with love and affection just as you should explore all the links present. If you are interested in being a Pen Pal, send an email to: sm@anklevine.com
With Pen Pal in the subject line and a little something about why we would make good Pen Pals, along with the link- of course.
